2020 Autopsy Report: Heat, Lakers | Episode 474

Our final Autopsy Report for 2020 focuses on the last two teams standing, Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers. No one expected this to be our 2020 NBA Finals matchup but everyone certainly didnt doubt either deserved to get there either. The Heats path to the Finals gives everyone a lot of reason to feel good over the next 3-5 years because they have a young, diversified roster of talent coupled with one of the best floor generals in the game in Jimmy Butler. Certainly there are needs for this team to be addressed but make no mistake the way the Heat competed in the playoffs should give Heat fans great confidence and the rest of the East great concern should they get the necessary pieces to sustain this type of play. As for the Lakers what more can be said, Lebron James has all but cemented him self to be amoung the NBA Rushmore and while teaching young AD how to carry a team on his back, the Lakers could very well be set up for one more run to defend and recapture the chip. Still there are a lot question marks on what this roster will look like going into 2021, and whether they can replicate the defensive majesty the showed to win the championship. One thing is for certain the Lakers (preferably LBJ) will undoubtedly lean on Jeannie Buss, and Rob Pelinka do their Magic and keep the TitleTown Revival going. Download and Discuss with US!
