In episode 201 of Sports Bliss with Rob and Kris, Rob and Kristie start the episode with some NBA news. Then they dive into the Ben Simmons situation with the Philadelphia 76ers. How is Doc Rivers going to deal with Simmons blantant stance that he doesn't want to play for the Sixers?

Next they jump into NFL news and the rumor that is scorching hot, Deshaun Watson being traded to the Dolphins. They debate if this trade is actually going to happen and even if it should happen. Then Rob shares with Kristie recent comments form Emily Mayfield defending her husbands dedication and play for the Browns. Rob asks if she is right and should professinal athlete's spouses weigh in publicly on media and fans reactons to play on the field? Next, Rob and Kristie preview and give their picks for the Falcons versus the Dolphins and the Bears versus the Bucs. Rob also gets Kristie's reaction to Tom Brady's recent comments about Aaron Rodgers being a part owner in the Bears.

Finally, Rob and Kristie change gears and get into some college football news. First up, they discuss the recent firing of Washington State's head football coach Nick Rolovich and several assistant coaches. Rolovich was fired because he did not comply with a state mandate for covid vaccination with state employees. They debate should he be suing the state for wrongful termination or is the university correct in it's decision to fire the head coach. Then they take a peek around the sunshine state at this weekend's games. They preview North Carolina State versus Miami, UMass versus FSU, and Memphis versus UCF. Who will be the big winners and the big losers this weekend? Then Rob asks Kristie is it fair that Dan Mullen is under criticism for his recruiting record and will this put even more pressure on the Gators head football coach?

As always Rob and Kristie end the episode with trivia and a would you rather.

Mentioned in this episode:

Why get life insurance? We pay hundreds of dollars per year to protect our homes, our cars, and even our phones, but too many of us aren't taking steps to protect our families' finances. Mortgage payments, private student loans, and other types of debt don't just disappear if something happens to you. A life insurance policy can provide your loved ones with a financial cushion they can use to cover those costs - and it can provide you with peace of mind that even in a worst-case scenario, they'll be protected. Already have coverage through work? Having life insurance through your job may not be enough: Most people need up to 10x more coverage to properly provide for their families. And coverage through work isn't portable. If you leave your job, the policy doesn't go with you, meaning a gap in coverage when you need it most. Why get covered now? Life insurance typically gets more expensive as you age, so it's smart to get a policy sooner rather than later. Worried about price?
