Burn Rubber On Me (Why You Wanna Hurt Me) by Gap Band

Label: Mercury 76091
Year: 1980
Condition: M
Price: $9.00

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy, in its original factory sleeve. Right after George Clinton's bands (Funkadelic/Parliament), the Gap Band was one of the greatest of the 1970's-1980's funk bands. These guys could really rock, and this was their first in a string of #1 RnB hits. A must for funk collectors. This pressing fits the entire A side title onto one line; other pressings use two lines. Note: The A label has a couple of shallow "bubbles," but they're so unobtrusive I'm sticking with Mint for the Label grade. The vinyl (styrene) and audio are also pristine Mint.
