Michael Scalar is a veteran DJ and producer with over 15 years of experience in the electronic music scene. He has earned a reputation for being both a talented DJ and producer, playing at a wide variety of clubs and festivals around the globe. Michael Scalar is a resident DJ in the Las Vegas house and techno scene who has earned respect for his skills and unfaltering love of proper underground sounds. Amanda Marks, also known as Violin Girl, is a professional electric violinist, vocalist, and recording artist who has graced the stages of music festivals, clubs, and venues nationally and overseas. She takes tracks, often being mixed live by DJs, and improvises over them on the electric violin, thus creating a unique sound synthesis of electronic music and live instrumentation. Amanda's performance experience runs the gamut from transformational festivals like Lucidity, Northern Nights and Burning Man. She has also performed at Envision Festival in Costa Rica, Sugarfactory in Amsterdam, and held residencies at Drai's Beach Club in Las Vegas and Eden at Spin Nightclub in San Diego. Her first official release comes as a featuring in Deep Tribe's remix of Freddy Be's "Holding Back," which is out now on the Perspectives Digital label and supported by the likes of Darin Epsilon, Soul Button, Matt Darey, Maya Jane Coles, Djuma Soundsystem, Oliver Schories and more.
