In the morning they go back to the Maderas villa and speak with Pasco the gardener. He admits to a relationship with Bronwin but feels like it was mostly one sided. Working on the assumption that Bronwin has gone North they book passage on a ship to Deva. On the way Doreena points out that her armorer is in that area and that they should perhaps look for better weapons. Better meaning either magical or silver tipped. The ship arrived in Deva quite early and once the shops open up the group buys a cart and donkey and head down to Viroconium to see Doreena's guy. He says that business has picked up and things up North are very unsettled.
