The remix is reminiscent of a classic new wave sound, yet packaged into a contemporary setting for big room floors. Ordinarily, you would put J before L to preserve alphabetical order, but in this case the amount of work done by Lauer necessitates some sort of nod – rhetorically or otherwise. Early in their career, Philip and Gerd had been focusing largely on remix commissions rather than original production, but have since diversified their output. They've gone on releasing on renowned labels such as Creme Organization, CONSTRUCT, Freebase Records, and Mojuba.
