577. Forever Home: a mindful story and relaxation

It was a chilly winter day on Ahway Island. The snow fell softly from the big grey clouds, covering all of the sidewalks and streets on Ahway Island. The snowplows had some extra work to do today to make sure that everyone on the island was safe and sound. Gilbert Goldfish stared out the window of the Ahway Island Animal Shelter with big, happy eyes. He hadn’t seen it snow this much on Ahway Island and he was very excited! Gilbert imagined all the little kids playing happily in the soft white snow.
Although Gilbert was excited about the snow, he was even more excited about adoption day. Gilbert always looked forward to adoption day. He remembered that just last week, one of the bunnies in the shelter was adopted by a kindly woman. He also remembered how happy both the bunny and the woman were. Even though Gilbert was a little goldfish and not a big cuddly dog, he still loved to daydream about the day when he would find his forever home.
