Chapter 11: Hitting 3111m above seas level, and racing towards Addis Ababa

Getting sick at 3111m above sea level is no fun. Today was the first day I heard about Mark Beuamont tackling the Cairo to Cape Town route by public announcement. I knew I would need to race to try reach Cape Town as fast as I could. Mark had contacted me as he was afraid of the roads from Marsabit to Moyale and asked about various route information and copied my exact route.
