episode 10: Bonus episode! Brad Smeeles favourite books

In episode 4, Brad and I discussed some books that have helped him along his journey.  These are those books:

“The way of the peaceful Warrior”- Dan Millman

The story tells of a chance meeting with a service station attendant who becomes a spiritual teacher to a young gymnast, Dan Millman (the author). The attendant teaches Dan how to become a "peaceful warrior".

“Tuesdays with Morrie”- Mitch Albom

Mitch Albom is a popular sports writer who feels that something is missing in his life.  Morrie is his former university professor who is dying.  This story covers their conversations (on Tuesdays LOL) where they go deep and discuss love, happiness and death.

“Man’s search for meaning”- Viktor Frankl

Maybe my favorite book of all time….and an easy half-day read.  Viktor Frankl shares his insights from being in a concentration camp during WW2.  'Viktors insights teach us that, not only is there value in our search for meaning, but it is the duty of each and every one of us to find that meaning for ourselves and pursue it.
