Episode 66: Riot's Hope

Yes, we took a bit of an end-of-winter-break (that's a thing in the eyeball-verse, just roll with it) but we're back and ready to roll into the final episodes of Jem and the Holograms!

And, we're truly getting back to the core concepts of the show, because "Riot's Hope" is FULL of daddy-related trauma.

For real, we thought Kimber had it bad with a dad who left a fortune and a super computer/ghost to her older sister while completely forgetting she exists, but, turns out our favourite closet-queer Riot has a dad just as bad. Like, "not taking your child to the Father's Day banquet" level of poor parenting.

Just so you know before listening to the episode, any time the term "music" is used, replace it with "gay." Because, while Riot's dad doesn't want his son to be a sissy who plays music, what he's REALLY saying is he doesn't want a sissy son who takes the royal D. Which is ridiculous, because sissies don't take D. Tops are sissies, duh.

Anyway, we delve into all the daddy-trauma-drama with plenty of nonsense thrown in for good measure, as per usual. Listen now because we only have one more episode of this nonsense left!!
