NATO Officials: Belarus Could “Soon” Join Russia In War
Thick black smoke is seen in the city of Kyiv today after several large explosions rocked nearby suburbs. CNN teams on the ground also reportedly heard shelling and gunfire. The Kyiv regional police have claimed its forces have retaken the town of Makariv from Russian troops.
Also, today is the first day of questions for Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson who appeared before the Judiciary Committee for a hearing that has at times been contentious.
