episode 22: Secular theology and casual sex without treating people casually

FYI: "I like Pagans and Paganism." -Antonio Myers

"Since Jesus didn't create Christianity, where did Christianity originate from and who created it? The truth is that it came from the Roman Empire. In 312 AD, the emperor of Rome, which was Constantine made the most controversial and impactful decision. Emperor Constantine converted his empire from Paganism to his new religion called "Christianity." And under that umbrella was the Roman Catholic Church. Constantine called his belief "Christianity," but Jesus and his Apostles never called their faith that, and the reason is because Constantine's religion had absolutely nothing to do with what Jesus' taught. Constantine's Christianity was controversial from the original beliefs and doctrines of the Apostles because it went against everything they stood for and died for.

Ancient Christianity was based off of the utilization of minimal scriptures, and a bunch of Paganism! This religion that Constantine created that's still being practiced today not only by Catholics, but by many Protestants is actually astonishing! The religion of Christianity believes in a Trinity, (which is what they say to be One God existing in three mini-gods at the same time, which comes from the Pagan belief of the Mother god, son of god, and father god.) Constantine's "Christianity" and "Catholic" doctrine was 100% demonic and not of God! The idolatry and Paganism incorporated within their beliefs shifted their beliefs from worshiping Jesus as the only true God, to worshiping Mary, their other two members of their Trinity, and the saints.

It wasn't only the Catholic Church who were corrupt, but everyone included in the new religions that were formed from Christianity that came from the Protestant Reformation known as "denominations." These new denominations that were formed are all off-shoots of the Catholic church. Many different beliefs, doctrines, and divisions were formed from the Protestant Reformation, and believe it or not, this reformation wasn't of God. God is not a God of confusion, and didn't intend for there to be many different religions or denominations that claim they're all "Christian," but deny him in their doctrinal beliefs."

"Sex is a consensual experience. When it isn’t consensual it goes by another name. If you and/or your sexual health were violated, you have the right to hold your casual sex partner accountable and demand recourse.

Putting the word “casual” in front of “sex” doesn’t give anyone permission to ignore your boundaries, not ask for your consent, or share your private information without your knowledge. It isn’t an excuse to treat someone poorly or coercively.

So, to conclude.

If you’re looking for a CSR be honest about your intentions both with your partner and yourself. After four weeks of mental agony and gymnastics, I’ve realised that you can either worry about it or just be upfront with yourself. If you don’t feel ready for a long-term relationship it’s okay to admit that to yourself.

However, wanting to fuck is NOT an excuse to not give a fuck.

It’s also not an excuse to lower your standards.

To me, a CSR isn’t that much different from an “actual” relationship. You still need to communicate with your partner, treat them well, and be a positive influence in their life. The sex will be better and you won’t feel like a dirtbag."
