In this episode of the Taegeuk Warriors Podcast, Michael chats with Devon Rowcliffe, author of the new book Who Ate All the Squid? Football Adventures in South Korea. The pair chat about Devon's time in Korea while living in Korea, as he spent the 2003 season following the Busan i.cons FC (Now Busan IPark FC). Devon shares a little about the history of the K League and the different changes that had come to Busan as he followed the team. As Devon is a huge supporter of the growth of the Korean club football pyramid, the pair dig into the changes coming to the K3, K4, and K5 leagues in particular. Devon gives some teams to watch out for in the lower leagues, discusses how promotion to the K League could work, and gives a little update on Busan Transport FC.
