Next week, the Indieheads Podcast will launch our latest mini-series, Best New Podcast, this Wednesday, May 11th! Following a similar path to our Number Ones series, Rose, Jackie and Matty will be looking at Pitchfork’s Best New Track archives, specifically those from the 2010s, and reviewing a curated set of picks from this era. With 3 playlists per year, the first part of the series will look at the years 2010, 2011 and 2012, as this trio will be joined by members of the Indieheads Podcast and other special guests every episode as we look to see if these BNT’s stand the test of time. Here’s the Patreon schedule below for what to expect the next few months + playlist links of what songs we’ll be talking about in each episode (episodes will go up after 48 hours on all other podcast platforms).

Now, what does this mean for the regular episodes of the Indieheads Podcast? Unlike previous series that basically put regular episodes on hold, we’ll still be putting out mainline episodes of the pod every Sunday, with one of those being a bonus episode every month. So, we’re excited to be back at it with a new series for y’all and we’ll see you all next week for the first episode of Best New Podcast!
