Mike Missanelli - 97.5 The Fanatic

(00:00-10:06) On today’s Mike Missanelli Show, Tyrone and Jen are off.  Mike is joined by Tom Alvord for today’s show. Mike starts off reacting to the Phillies loss last night and how pathetic the mental mistakes and lack of basic baseball fundamentals were.  Mike also talks about the passing of legendary actor Ray Liotta.  He specifically talks about some of this favorite quotes from Goodfellas.  Tom gives his thoughts on the Phillies and their direction this season.

(10:07-42:47) Tom introduces today’s Twitter poll.  A majority of the city seems to want Joe Girardi fired, but will Dave Dombrowski actually do it? Your choices are Yes-It will happen soon, Yes-Weeks/Months away, and No-He’s here for good.  The early leader is “Yes-Weeks/Months away”.  Mike heads to the phones to hear what you have to say.  An early caller that won tickets to “The Who” from the station reported that it was just ok.  This sparked a conversation about the recent concert.

(42:48-1:17:02) Mike plays the Jimmy Kimmell clip and gives his opinion on the issues with gun control in the country after the recent school shootings in Texas.  He heads back to the phones to hear what you have to say.  Many callers give their thoughts on “The Who” concert.  Throughout the show, Mike shares more Ray Liotta quotes.
