episode 263: Is Jayson Tatum a superstar? What are Jimmy G and Baker's future? UCF to Big XII in 2023 plus more


In episode 263 of Sports Bliss with Rob and Kris, Rob and Kristie start the episode talking NBA finals. Rob and Kristie debate does Steph Curry need a finals MVP to cement his NBA legacy? They also discuss recent comments that Jayson Tatum is not a superstar and give their opinions on the subject matter. Then Rob shares Zion Williamson's recent comments on wanting to stay with the New Orleans Pelicans. Rob and Kristie debate whether the Pelicans should give an extension to Zion and commit then bank to their future.

Next they jump into college football news. first up they discuss the recent announcement that UCF has finally arranged their buyout for the American Athletic Conference and will officially join the Big XII for the 2023 football season. Rob shares the details of the deal and even mentions when UCF will be a full partner in the Big XII. Then Rob asks Kristie who she thinks will win a conference championship first, BYU, Cincinnati, Houston, or UCF? Then Kristie tries to guess the four teams college football teams ESPN's computers predicts will be undefeated in regular season play this year.

Next, they tackle some serious NFL news when they discuss recent comments made by Washington Commander's DC Jack Del Rio. Rob and Kristie share their opinions on Del Rio's comments. Then they lighten things up by discussing what they think Jimmy Garoppolo and Baker Mayfield's futures holds. Will they both stay with their current teams this year or have a change of scenery. They wrap up their NFL news with recent comments by Tyreek Hill on why he left Kansas City for South Beach. They sneak one last football story about Texas A&M and Nick Saban before ending their news segments.

As always Rob and Kristie end the episode with trivia and a would you rather.
