Jungle Boogie is a funk song recorded by Kool & the Gang for their 1973 album ‘Wild and Peace”. It reached number four as a single, and became very popular in nightclubs. The music and song really makes you think about the jungle with boogie style.

The song’s spoken main vocal was performed by the bands roadie, Don Boyce.

Jungle Boogie is a great song to dance too. I love the way the horns are played together with the beat and bass. It’s like jazz. The words & music stays in your mind and never leaves. It’s the kind of song that didn’t need a lot of words like most songs are written. Just a few words and the spoken main vocal’s expressions in between.
