Sarah was impressed that according to several reports the President spoke with soldiers before making decision and Beth reflects that most of her reaction was due to her lack of trust in Trump. We also discuss The Daily's reporting on the long-term strategy in Afghanistan with regard to Pakistan in particular.
Then, we watched him give a 77-minute speech during a campaign rally in Phoenix and talk about Ben Carson's presence and his continued attacks on the media. We also struggle with people continuing to support Trump. We reflect on our reactions to these two speeches.
