episode 278: Deodorant debate, Aaron Rodgers and Ayahuasca, Gators and Knights fall camp begins, Dolphins tampering
In episode 278 of Sports Bliss with Rob and Kris, Rob starts the episode asking Kristie the question is it ok to ask someone to share their deodorant? Then they jump into the NFL. Kristie shares a story about a New Orleans Saints player that was kicked out of practice. They debate what this actually means on a team. Then Rob shares a story about Aaron Rodgers and his use of ayahuasca. They debate is this a good or bad thing for Rodgers and Kristie shares her knowledge on this natural hallucinogen. Then Kristie brings up the latest with the Miami Dolphins and the investigation the NFL performed on the tampering accusations. Kristie asks Rob if should only the team be penalized or should the player involved be punished also? Finally in the NFL Rob updates Kristie on the Deshaun Watson case with the NFL. Next, Rob updates Kristie on the Brittney Griner arrest in Russia. Could her being sentenced actually be a positive to help negotiations move forward?
Then they jump into the world of college football. First, Rob shares a story about Rutgers linebacker Drew Singleton who declared for the NFL draft, wasn't drafted, and is now applying to play his 5th year of eligibility. Then Rob shares some of Billy Napier's comments from the first few days of fall camp. They debate what his comments mean for the upcoming season. Then Rob shares some details from the first week of UCF's fall camp. They discuss how fans are debating over who should be the starting quarterback and Rob suggests Mikey "the Gator Slayer" Keene should maintain his starting role to begin the season.
As always Rob and Kristie end the episode with trivia and a would you rather.
