In episode 281 of Sports Bliss with Rob and Kris, Kristie starts the episode discussing Deshaun Watson's debut with the Browns. Rob shares the play by play of his first snap and a clip of his apology. They also debate if the Browns should trade for Jimmy G and if the 49ers will release him or make a trade? Next, they have some Cowboys talk and Kristie brings up a startling statistic that the Cowboys have lead the league with. Rob also shares with Kristie that a certain wide receiver has asked Jerry Jones to call him so he could help out their offense. Then Rob shares the dilemma the Patriots offense is facing during preseason. Then Rob shares a story about a possible curse on the Bengals.
Next, Rob and Kristie talk college football. Kristie shares a recruiting update on her Gators and Rob shares a story about the Gators new $85 million football complex. Rob asks Kristie if she thinks this facilities arms race will continue at this pace or will NIL divert some of these future funds and projects. Next, Rob shares a unique story of how Lane Kiffin and the Ole Miss Rebels have found a new punter for their team, at a keg party! In final college football news Rob updates Kristie on the UCF knights quarterback battle between Mikey Keene the Gator slayer and John Rhys Plumlee.
