As a whole, humans have lost touch with the environment. We tend to favor sterile lawns and concrete yards, exterminate creatures we consider pests, spread poisons, and isolate ourselves from each other. We ignore the microbiomes within our own bodies and as a result, we as a species have health, emotional, and weight problems.
In this episode, we will explore some of the ways we have become disconnected so that we can start to reconnect. No man is an island - we all depend on our internal and external environments for our overall wellness.
You have some homework this week. Find your environmental connection. Go outside and appreciate something nature has provided for you. Reflect deeply on what would happen if that thing never existed again. How would it affect you?
