"Pass Me Not, O Gentle Savior" is a 19th-century American hymn written by Francis J. Crosby in 1868 (lyrics) and William H. Doane in 1870 (music). The hymn has been recorded by number of artists, including Bill Gaither, and Lyle Lovett. Bob Dylan performed this song live to open five concerts in his 2002 American tour. (from Wikipedia)

Fanny Crosby was probably the most prolific hymnist in histoy. Though blinded by an incompetent doctor at six weeks of age, she wrote over 8,000 hymns. About her blindness, she said:
It seemed intended by the blessed providence of God that I should be blind all my life, and I thank him for the dispensation. If perfect earthly sight were offered me tomorrow I would not accept it. I might not have sung hymns to the praise of God if I had been distracted by the beautiful and interesting things about me.
In her lifetime, Fanny Crosby was one of the best known women in the United States. To this day, the vast maority of American hymnals contain her work.

G C G
Pass me not O gentle Saviour,
D7 G
Hear my humble cry!
G C G
While on others Thou art calling.
D7 G D7 G
Do not pass me by (I'm calling)
Chorus:
G C
Saviour, Saviour,
G D7
Hear my humble cry!
G C G
While on others Thou art calling,
D7 G D7 G
Do not pass me by.
Let me at Thy throne of mercy, find a sweet relief:
Kneeling there in deep contrition, help my unbelief.

Chorus

Trusting only in Thy merit, would I seek Thy face;
Heal my broken wounded spirit; save me by Thy grace

Chorus

Thou the spring of all my comfort, more than life to me.
Whom have I on earth beside Thee? Whom in heaven but Thee?

Chorus
