To be honest, it was quite a journey of thought. It took my friends in the web3 space and me from "of course, it's a great idea for Starbucks" to "copy-pasting loyalty programs from web2 to web3 makes hardly sense." However, Starbucks also knows that, and that's why there are other strategic aspects to their move into web3.
