episode 291: Bucs and Saints smack down in the Super Dome. Knights bounce back and Gators survive the cows plus more


In episode 291 of Sports Bliss with Rob and Kris, Rob and Kristie start the episode reviewing week 2 results of the NFL. First they discuss the Bucs win over the Saints and the smack down in the Super Dome. They discuss why Bruce Arians was there and how Mike Evans laid the Hammer down in the fight. They also discuss the melt down that Jameis Winston had interceptions he second half with 3 interceptions. Next, They discuss the Dolphins huge comeback against eh Baltimore Ravens. Rob also shares that Tua became only the third Miami Dolphins quarterback to accomplish 6 touch downs in a game. They also debate if Tua can continue this level of play and Rob asks if he could be a legit MVP candidate? Next, they review the Jags shut out win against the Indianapolis Colts led by Matt Ryan. Rob asks is Trevor Lawrence is on the verge of turning things around or was this just because they played the Colts? They also discuss Jimmy G's return to the field with Trey Lance's season ending ankle fracture. What will the 49ers do if Jimmy leads San Fran deep into the playoffs? Will they move on and stick with Lance or try to resign him after the season? Rob also points out Baker Mayfield could have stayed with the Browns and potentially been 2 and 0 versus 0 and 2 on a less talented Carolina Panthers squad. Rob asks if Baker made the wrong decision for his long term future?

Next, Rob and Kristie jump into the college football world where they break down the Gators, Hurricanes, and Knights matchup from the previous weekend. They discuss Anthony Richardson's poor performance and Rob asks if he should be benched if he continues to play this way? They also review Plumlee's bounce back numbers in a win over FAU and the dominant defensive effort in the second half for the Knights only giving up 18 total yards to the Owls. Kristie also shares some more Nebraska Cornhusker news.

As always Rob and Kristie end the episode with trivia and a would you rather.
