Rod Goelz loved being a cop. But injuries from an airplane crash ended his law-enforcement career, so he moved into the corporate world--where he survived downsizings, reorganizations, and a brain tumor. When people asked him how he did so well in the face of these challenges, he didn't have a good answer. Then he started to learn more about change and resilience, and found a vocabulary to describe his experiences. This led him into consulting, which allowed him to share what he had learned about change, adversity, and resilience. He'll talk about his journey and his passion for helping people break out of "victim thinking." And he might share a story or two about his 44-year romance with his soul mate.
