This week we got Richard Gilliver doing his best ASMR while August and Cindy back him up with nothing but the facts. I wasted too much time with a Picard speech so let’s just get right into it!

First up, A Nobel prize winner is in some hot water. Why might you ask? Well I will give you three guesses with just one hint. He Catholic bishop from Portugal. Well where he is from isn’t really the important part so you blew a guess on that. No, it’s not because he tried to move in a straight line when he is only supposed to move diagonally. Ok, you guessed it, it is due to sexual abuse. We also get some real time fact checking in this segment so be sure to pay attention to this one!

Next up, The women or Iran are starting to protest their oppressive wear! This has reverberations of other feminist protests in both the US in the 60’s and in Iran when the Shiite regime took over in the late 70’s and 80’s. Veil burnings echoing the bra burnings an ocean away. Hopefully it doesn’t take a generation or two to get the freedoms they deserve and that their male counterparts wield over them like a deadly weapon.

We then turn back to the states and a massively hypocritical situation. It seems like a family values candidate doesn’t quite practice what he preaches. Then again we are talking about Herschel Walker. Do we always know what he is trying to preach? He is just one of the many that got caught, but this time the hypocrisy is about an abortion(s?) of a girlfriend. He is just one name in a long string of conservative leaders. That’s not to say conservatives bad and liberals good by default. It is telling though how some people want to make rules, but then not follow them in their daily life. Look, all we ask is for consistent character growth!

Lastly, We have a step in the right direction with a little bit of a ghost story. One that chills Christian Nationalism to the bone. A story that can only be told so very close to Halloween. There is a creature growing. A Secular Government Caucus that will stop at nothing to hunt down Christian Nationalism and stop them from ruining people’s lives. They want to put a stop to “Project Blitz”. They want to keep gods out of public schools. Christian Nationalism GET OUT! The call is coming from within the Minnesota State Legislature!
