Sports Bliss with Rob and Kris

In episode 299 of Sports Bliss with Rob and Kris, Rob and Kristie start the episode discussing the NFL. Kristie starts by talking about Tua and his recent press conference about the night he got hit at Cincinnati. Rob and Kristie debate how Tua will perform in his return against the Steelers. Then they discuss the Jags matchup with the New York Giants. They debate if Trevor Lawrence can step up and help lead Jacksonville to a win after 3 straight losses. Then they discuss the matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Carolina Panthers. Rob shares with Kristie a player that is planning to return to the Bucs that could make a huge difference in their play. They also discuss the Monday matchup between the Bears and the Patriots and they debate who will be the starting quarterback for the Patriots.

Next, Rob and Kristie discuss the opening game for the Orlando Magic. Rob shares some of the staggering numbers Palo Banchero produced in his debut game. They also discuss their expectations for the Magic this season and their core trio of players.

The last news segment of the podcast begins with college football talk and a preview of the UCF Knights versus the ECU Pirates. This will be the last scheduled game in this long standing series. They debate if the defense can slow down a great running back for the pirates and a very veteran quarterback. They also debate if John Rhys Plumlee can continue his great play from the past 2 games or revert to his early season form?
