Growing up is tough enough for children. When they reach the teen years moving forward, what they have learned or picked up from their families, peers and friends begin to form their own view of life. When a craniofacial anomaly also plays a significant role, that adds more to the maturation process. This week's "CleftCast" continues "The Healthy Smile" series as host Joe Rutland speaks about growing up through these years, how developing a healthy self-esteem can definitely help and begin to set yourself up for success in life. Life is worth living and those in the cleft/craniofacial community can always use a listening ear and helping hand.
