Shay Michael chats with David Peisner, author of the Steve-O memoir, A Hard Kick in the Nuts: What I've Learned from a Lifetime of Terrible Decisions, He's also written Homey Don’t Play That!: The Story of In Living Color and the Black Comedy Revolution, which was published in 2018 by Atria/Simon & Schuster, and another Steve-O memoir called A Professional Idiot.
In the episode, David tells of a hilarious experience getting to know Steve-O, which includes his neck getting locked in a bolt before taking off for a flight, and of his experiences on a freelance reporting trip to Uganda, where he met with and wrote about Ugandan politician, singer, and actor, Bobi Wine.
