Our very first episode was intended to focus on the "Scream" franchise; but with the current climate our nation is in, we would much rather celebrate some of our favorite artists who exude black excellence. We highlight the stellar horror doc: "Horror Noire-A History of Black Horror." Available to stream on Shudder. This documentary explores the contributions of black artists to the horror genre and exposes the negative propaganda cinema publishes in regards to black characters. We also have a message from our friend Drew who expresses the terrible loss of his brother due to police brutality. We also share the powerful speech given by Desiree Barnes in regards to protesting and the importance of voting. We need to stand together to let everyone know BLACK LIVES MATTER. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/fearthetalkingqueers/support
