Our final episode of the season is with former international high jumper and expert in plyometric training methods, Matt McInnes Watson.

He just finished his first seminar in Ireland which he tells us about in todays podcast, sharing the things that surprised him about the process of presenting to Irish coaches and athletes.
Matt touched on his vision for his company, Plus Plyos, and where he hopes for it to go in the future.
He then spoke about adding plyometrics into a training programme for team sports athletes the benefits of doing so. Matt picked apart my own process in using plyometrics, COD and speed coaching in a team-setting for Gaelic Games.
We then got into the specifics of plyometrics and choosing the correct plyometric progressions for each athlete in relation to their position of play, in relation to rugby union and other team-sports.
