Clip from Season 0 E2 Seattle is liberal, socially avant-garde, progressive, artsy and not a city that would come to mind when you mention "American Christian Values". Mars Hill Church flourished in urban Ballard at a time when Seattle was the least churched city in the US. With the crowds of people seeking God and learning about faith came the challenges of people needing relational, family and marital hopefulness as well as those seeking freedom from life-threatening addictions. Mike was the leader of what eventually became a Redemption Groups that still go on to this day. This is a post MHC conversation with Mike Wilkerson.
