Join me for a rich bold jazzy conversation on Recovery yoga with Katie Ziskind is an energetic, young woman majoring in psychology at Mitchell College. She is highly interested in the symbiotic mind-body connection that can be experienced through yoga. Katie Ziskind’s yoga practice creates a metaphor for the rest of her life. Gradually shifting her practice from once a week to daily over the past few years, she has strengthened her Vinyasa flow to a new potential. As Katie’s practice grows, she feels positive, shifts in her perspective and quality of life and radiates this enthusiasm to her students. Dormant energy blocks in her body have melted away releasing her free spirit! She is registered through Yoga Alliance for her 200-hour Lifeline Power Yoga Teacher Training and Children’s Yoga and is in the process of completing her 500-hr inner peace yoga therapy certification. Katie is really excited about sharing her senior research project, "The Effects of Yoga on Treatment of Mental Illness" and clinical yoga which combines therapy and yoga… and more!
