episode 319: Should Tua retire due to concussions? Can the Bucs stay alive? Plus Orlando magic melee and college football playoffs
In episode 319 of Sports Bliss with Rob and Kris, Kristie starts the episode discussing a conspiracy that is consuming all of her time. Then they jump into the NFL by previewing the Bucs and Panthers rematch this weekend. Can Brady and the Bucs offense get it going or will the Panthers sink Tampa Bay's playoff hopes? Then they preview the Jacksonville Jaguars game against the Texans. Rob and Kristie debate if Trevor Lawrence and company can continue their winning ways and win the AFC South? Finally, Rob and Kristie preview the Miami Dolphins and Patriots game. They discuss what is going on with Tua and his concussions. Rob also shares recent comments from Raheem Mostert about Tua's injury.
Then Rob gives Kristie an update on the Orlando Magic. They discuss the Malice in the Palace part 2 where Mo Wagner receives a cheap shot from Killian Hayes. They debate how many of the Magic players that left the bench area will be suspended. They also discuss Luka Doncic's historic performance against the New York Knicks.
Next, Rib and Kristie jump into the college football world. First up they review UCF's loss to the Duke Blue Devils. They debate if John Rhys Plumlee can improve enough to lead the UCF Knights into the Big XII next season. Rob also shares an interesting exchange between Will Muschamp and Kirk Herbstreit. Finally, they preview and give their picks for the college football playoffs and a few of the remaining bowl games this weekend.
As always Rob and Kristie end the episode with trivia and a would you rather.
