From August 7, 2022 to December 31, 2022, we performed a series of hypothesis tests to determine the actions that drive steep and profitable growth in the current market landscape. We gave ourselves the following requirements:
Anyone could recreate it with free tools, a computer, and the internet.
A sales, marketing, advertising, and sponsorship budget of $0.
The growth rate of the North Star metric must be greater than 50% per month.
Results needed to be achieved in less than 90 days (i.e., one fiscal quarter).
The same person must create the strategy, content, and distribution.
Time investment could not be more than 2 hours per day.
It must attract advertisers organically with zero reach out.
The market must be highly competitive (e.g., social media).
