These are just a few ways that Russia’s Amber Room has been described. A room crafted entirely from amber, gold and precious stones that served as a space for the country’s royalty for centuries. However, in the dying days of WW2, the Amber Room vanished from its Russian palace home, and it has never been seen again. Today, a replica stands in its place.
