As Goku and friends depart and go their separate ways after the 21st Martial Arts Tournament and we’re treated to our first batch of mostly anime original material meant to help viewers transition into the Red Ribbon Army arc! Join us as we talk about why Episode 29 in particular ends up rendering Nam’s entire reason for participating in the tournament to be kind of pointless, rejoice at the return of the Pilaf gang, and wonder whether that stinky homeless kid is gonna have more of a role in this arc at all??
