episode 22: Ep. 22 - Managing Toxic Parents

Some people think it’s the greatest problem in all of youth sports.  While there are definitely toxic players and coaches, something that all players, coaches and parents themselves can agree on is that there are a lot of toxic PARENTS out there, today.  Whether it’s demanding more playing time when it’s not warranted for their child, feeling threatened or triggered every time their son or daughter faces adversity, or even verbally abusing players, coaches, or other parents over things they don’t understand, there are strategies to employ to minimize the headaches and the hassles from such parents.

Join Zuby & Erik, once again, as they delve deep into this important topic and discuss not only the root causes of toxicity in parents, but also why it’s on the rise (across society) and how coaches, players, and the truly GREAT parents can help minimize its impact and even turn these foes into allies from the first day of the season!
