The Brixton Riots

VIEWERS ARE TO LISTEN TO THIS EPISODE AT THERE OWN DISCRETION - IT GOT REAL! Not sure if we were ready for this but we did it... This week we talk about the brixton riots; the one 1985 over the shooting of Cherry Groce by the police. Us 90s baby's weren't born those times but we always hear about it alot. We needed some questions answered Our lovely guest took us way back and kicked some knowledge on some of the black history in London. So many gems and things to soak up. Alot of pain and angst but passionate conversations are always the best ones. You know the saying; whenever you are talking, you are not listening... we soaked it up this time In this conversation we explored police brutality, racism, unnecessary stop and searches, and many other personal experiences that will certainly play on some emotional strings. Whether Its Cherry Groce, Jean Charles De Menezes, Mark Duggan, Oscar Grant, Eric Garner. Something needs to be done. The conversation speaks for itself (pun intended). Discussing problems without solutions is worthless and all in vain. Our advice after this one - stick together, work as a unit and know your history... whoever you are!
