Kahnversations Podcast 2.0

We've all heard the stories from block buster actors. In Kahnversations, you’ll hear interviews with some of Lesly Kahn & Company’s working actors, directors, and writers. Folks who have just broken through, not yet to wild star status, but they aren't bartending either (probably). The goal: de-mystifying career trajectories and talking through those moments where everything shifted. We’ll learn how they got their start in Hollywood, the challenges and hurdles they faced, and how they overcame the odds, not to mention dish some juicy stories! Listen in and enjoy as these entertainers speak candidly about their path, process, and experiences, and about how Lesly and the Kahnstitute have influenced and shaped their careers. Also, did we mention Lesly impersonations…? Our new hosts (also LK&Co actors!) have a cool, free-flowing vibe that we know you will enjoy. George Twopointoh, producer of the podcast (IG @twopointoh and georgetwopointoh.com) and Patrice Covington, Emmy award winning actress-singer-speaker, and writer and performer of our theme song (@patricecovington on social media) joyfully guide the Kahnversation...

Actor Lilah Richcreek from Cougar Town, Two And A Half Men, Criminal Minds and the upcoming Gorgeous Morons!!!

In this installment of "Kahnversations," we interview Lilah Richcreek. A proud LA native, Lilah attended LACHSA (Los Angeles County High School for the Arts) and received the equivalent of 2 years of prestigious conservatory training in theatre. Upon graduating, she attended the University of Life, which consisted of being thrown into the deep end of the acting world and learning real life lessons. In 2010 she came to Lesly Kahn & Co. at the ripe old age of 20, and never left. In 2013 she started teaching the Technique Clinic and 2 Ongoing classes, making her the youngest teacher at LK & Co. Her credits include the 2013 ABC Family pilot WORK MOM, The 2014 ABC pilot FAMILY REUNION, and more recently, the 2015 pilot GORGEOUS MORONS, where she got to play a character who only wears sweatpants. Her literal dream.

When she's not acting she's most likely spending all her money at Whole Foods.

So many inspiring podcasts out there allow us to hear all about how well-established stars got to where they are today. But those actors are so faaaaaaar away from where so many of us are today! Wouldn’t it be great to hear from the guy who just booked his first pilot? Or the kid finally doing a studio pic after a bunch of low budget indies? Or the woman who’s been a series regular a few times but is only now becoming a name? What about the guy who’s been on a show for years and you know his face but what’shisnameagain? Or that actress who is now a freakin’ showrunner???? How’d THEY do it, right? How did they transition from relative obscurity, bartending and bottle service, to buying that house in the hills?

We’re producing “Kahnversations,” a podcast that provides access to THOSE people -- your immediate predecessors -- so that you can learn from them while their battle scars are still fresh.

In “Kahnversations,” our own Ryan Bailey interviews some of Lesly Kahn & Company’s working actors, directors, and writers in order to learn how they got started in Hollywood, the challenges and hurdles they faced, and how they overcame the odds. (They also dish out some crazy stories!) Listen in and enjoy as these entertainers speak candidly about their paths, processes, and experiences. You might even hear a bit about how Lesly and the Kahnstitute have influenced and shaped their careers.
