Jem Girls Presents: Immortal Frenemies: 13 Going on 30
Ok, we dropped the ball here people. Despite the hour-long conversation the Jem Girls/Immortal Frenemies/Hakuna and Orifice had about Jennifer Garner's "13 Going on 30," we didn't once (not once!) the sorely-need-dirty-title-reinterpretation "Squirteen Going on Squirty." It was staring us right in the face and yet we never got there. Again, we're sorry, but at least we got there eventually.
That incredibly important note aside, we are celebrating February (otherwise known as rom-com season) with the classic early 00's fantasy rom-com "13 Going on 30." One of us liked this movie and one of us... had some issues. Mainly with the, well, everything? But mostly the child bride undertones.
Enjoy the episode and praise be to the rom-com coven (never to be confused with rom-com-con, the romantic comedy convention) for bringing us this daily bread, and by bread we mean chalky heart candy with "LOT LZRD 4EVR" written on it. Amen.
