SONOHR: Ambulation by Tim Shaw
How does a city or the environemnt around us sound like? During the Soundwalk and Live Performance «Ambulation» by Tim Shaw, we experience a new listening experience that allows us to perceive and hear the environment around us in a new way with eompletely different «ears».
Aviv Szabs and Simone Keller met the sound and field recording artist, Tim Shaw via Zoom, as he is currently still in the UK.
In the Interview he tells of the importance of time and place for the «Ambulations», how he makes electromagnetis singals audible for human ears and the interesting sounds of Bern.
«Ambulation» will be performed at SONOHR Festival in Bern on Saturday 25. and Sunday 26.2.23 at different times of the day.
