The Field Recording PodCast by Thijs Geritz

Thijs Geritz is a Dutch illustrator, animator and an avid field recordist. Some of the recordings are 'binaural', meaning that the method of capture recreates an accurate stereo image of the environment when listened to using headphones. To enjoy this effect, listen to those marked 'Binaural fieldrecording' using headphones. For more information visit his SounCloud page: https://soundcloud.com/thijs-geritz

Trains, Trams And Automobiles (Den Haag, August 6th 2013)

Recorded around 8:30AM near the Rijswijkseplein, The Hague. At this place you can hear a never ending stream of traffic sounds. There's an elevated train, many cars and motorcycles, trams (with their squeaking wheels) and even a few boats. A very rich mixture, so I tried to record it.
