The Mysterious Disappearance of Jessica Lynn Garino | A Young Woman's Struggle with Substance Abuse and a Troubling Relationship

Jessica Lynn Garino was a free-spirited young woman from Unicoi County, Tennessee, who loved spending time with her loved ones. However, her life took a dark turn when she entered into a relationship with a much older man named Carson Cameron, who had substance abuse issues. Despite her family's efforts to steer her away from him, Jessica moved in with Cameron to get off drugs. In December 2011, Jessica moved to Goldsboro, North Carolina to start anew, but continued to keep in daily contact with her family. However, she was last seen on January 23, 2012, at an outpatient drug treatment facility, and her family reported her missing after she went a couple of weeks without contacting them.Although Jessica's food stamp card was used for a month after her disappearance, her family does not believe she was the one who used it. Cameron, who had initially claimed that she left abruptly in the middle of the night, has become uncooperative and refuses to speak about the case. The authorities have had few leads in the investigation, and Jessica Lynn Garino remains missing to this day. If alive, she would be 31 years old. Anyone with information regarding the case is urged to contact the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department or the Erwin Police Department.
