Here are a couple of poems about writing poetry, to celebrate National Poetry Day. Meantime, I'll get on with the new project, writing, recording and editing episodes for the promised spinoff serialised screwball adventure that Helen finds herself mixed up in.

Ep 1 of Season 5 kicks off with Helen receiving a phone call at 11.30 pm from her friend Louise who is in a care home near Lancaster . And she is reminded that not all old women are the same. There are certainly many ways that the word 'old' could be defined, and Helen and Louise would be two of them.

Episode 2, and Helen's granddaughter Susie is feeling very unsettled, and not at all sure why. She's sure her super confident gran won't know the feeling, but perhaps a chat might help.

Ep 3, and Helen enjoys a coffee in the garden with her neighbour Jennifer, and Jennifer's 103 year old grandmother, Nana Madeleine. The teenagers over the fence cause a ruckus, which leads to recollections of the 3 generations' own teenage misdemeanours. But first, a chat with Janey on the phone...
Episode 4 of Season 5. Helen's oldest friend, from her college days in New York, calls up for a chat from Sydney, Australia. They talk a lot of nonsense about Quantum Science, and the nature of time. Well, somebody has to!

Ep 5, and Helen is beginning to find fonts getting paler and smaller, and background noise getting louder. Her cafe friend, Evan from Wales (played by Edward Donnelly) comes to the rescue...
Episode 6, and there is a lot of sadness around, which is not necessarily the same as depression. Helen and her neighbour Jennifer share some thoughts on the subject over a coffee.
