CISN in the Morning

Edmonton was pretty sad after the Oilers loss last night. But at least we have Chris live from San Jose to tell us why we shouldn't get too upset. Plus, with Jack's hubby, Bob, spending a lot on playoff tickets without her approval, we chat about the big purchases you've made without telling your S.O.

Crazy Chris and the rest of the Oilers fans down in San Jose are trying to get the city fired up about the Oil, so we check in with him in the midst of the madness. And with Chris trying to give the Mayor of San Jose an Oilers cake, we talk about the worst gifts you've received. 

It's Jack and Matt holding down the fort while Chris is in San Jose. And speaking of San Jose, the gang checks in with Chris all morning for his rundown of the big game 3 Oilers victory. Plus, we chat with several Oilers fans who made the journey down to California. 

The Oilers plus Easter with family is turning out to be a bad mix for Matt. We get help for you about how Matt can convince his sport hating in-laws to let him watch the games this weekend. We also get you set for Easter with some chocolate fun facts.

Today's the day! The Oilers break their playoff drought in 11 years with game 1 against the Sharks. Since Matt is over the moon with exctiement, we talked the most excited you've ever been. Plus we share all the details about the bige pipeline parade "Connor-voy" that's happening before the game.  

Only one more day till the Oilers play their first playoff game in 11 years! To get everyone pumped, we talked with Brad Jespersen, who will be helping us out with the "pipeline parade" tomorrow. We also chatted about the weird ways you used to but our kids to sleep. 

It's National sibling day, so we had you share the stories of the worst thing you did or a sibling did to you. Let's just say family can be mean! We also talked about the big Oiler win to wrap up the season, and the HUGE playoff game 1 against the Sharks later in the week. 

Friday's are our favorite days! Especially when there are birthdays! Chris's son Carter has a very special birthday today - but he doesn't think so..........

Chris's mother-in-law LOVES canadian curler, Brad Guhsue. That led us to talk about your athlete crushes. I'd watch our Pat Maroon, you seem to be a pretty popular guy with the Edmonton ladies. Plus we get in to payless shoes leaving Canada, and stores you wish were still around.

It's a huge day in Oil Country, Alberta's very own, Brett Kissel, joined us to debut his brand new Oiler Playoff song! So good! It was also "Weird or What?" Wednesday, so we debated the strangeness of Matt's love of vacuuming.
