On February 9, 1999, 15 year-old sophomore Ashley Ouellette was dropped off at a friend’s home for a sleepover in Saco, Maine. Just before 4:00 am the next day, Ashley was found dead in the middle of a busy road. While she didn’t have any visible injuries, an autopsy concluded that she’d been strangled. 

The State Police conducted a thorough investigation of Ashley’s murder. Unfortunately, they were never able to gather enough evidence to file charges...
