Lead Singer Syndrome with Shane Told

Episode 12 - On the first episode of this special Underoath 2-part "Mini-Series", Shane sits down with Spencer Chamberlain, frontman of the band, and mostly known for his screaming. But as a very competent singer, did he feel like he should have done more clean vocals in the early days of the band? He talks about that, his new band Sleepwave, how the Underoath reunion came about, and how mad he was when they broke up.

Episode 11 - "The Best Episode Yet" according to Shane, Adam Lazzara of the platinum selling band Taking Back Sunday joins the show. The discussion talks about the early days of the band, how "Tell All Your Friends" changed the course of his life, his fallout and rekindled friendship with John, and how he is "still getting a handle" on his role as a lead singer. Episode 6 - Shane is joined this week by Jake Luhrs, frontman of the Grammy-nominated metal band August Burns Red. Despite his band's great success, Jake does not appear to suffer from lead singer syndrome in any way. Instead, most of his energy is spent connecting with, and offering support to his fans through his organization Heart Support.

Episode 5 - Shane sits down with Buddy Nielsen from Senses Fail, who 1 year ago came out as identifying as queer, admitted to being an alcoholic, and a sex addict. Now over a year sober, and more political than ever, Shane and Buddy talk about everything from hockey to gun control to repressed memories and Buddy's dislike of Texas.
