We're pretty sure there are only four elements, but this movie seems to argue otherwise. That's right, this week we reviewed The Fifth Element. The film stars our boy Bruce Willis, alongside Milla Jovovich, Gary Oldman, and Ian Holm. It centers on Willis and Jovovich as they discover a legendary cosmic weapon that will help them defeat Evil and Mr. Zorg. You'll definitely want to check out this episode, but as always, some spoilers lie ahead!
Damn NBRR&M, back at it again with another viewer request! This week we bring you a review of Bridge of Spies. The film is carried by Tom Hanks and Mark Rylance, and is about the exchange of a captured Soviet spy for the US U2 spy-plane pilot that was caught behind enemy lines during the Cold War. We don't want to spoil this from the start, but we want to clear the air and say that this movie has considerably less bridges built out of spies than we first anticipated. Bummer...
NBRR&M returns with a review of the film Seven Psychopaths. Much like the film In Bruges, Seven Psychopaths was written and directed by Martin McDonagh, and stars Colin Farrell. It follows a screenwriter who is struggling to write his latest film about, you guessed it, seven psychopaths. Be sure to listen to find out what makes this film so good! As always, spoilers ahead!
This week the guys and lady at NBRR&M are back again with a review of the film Practical Magic. Starring Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman, the film follows a family of witches that are cursed when they find true love. A premise that might not sound terrible, but we found the movie to be almost laughable. Join us to find out exactly where this film went wrong! Beware Spoilers!
Slow and steady wins the Oscar, or something along those lines! This week we reviewed Cold Mountain, the slow-paced Civil War love story from 2003. The film stars Jude Law and Nicole Kidman, alongside Academy Award-winning actress Renee Zellweger! As good as it may sound, our reviewers were split on their thoughts about this film! As always, watch out for spoilers!
This one is definitely and oldie but a goodie! This week we bring you the review of the 1993 action movie Demolition Man! Starring Stallone and Snipes, the film is about a maniac doing several Murder/Death/Kills in a non-violent future. As cheesy as it may sound, it was more intelligent than probably think! As always, spoilers ahead.
We were planning on doing a review within a review within a review within a review to get our point across, but hopefully just one review will do just fine! Join us as we dive into the Christopher Nolan masterpiece that is Inception. With a star studded cast that features Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy among others, you'll be questioning if this is reality or not! Hopefully everyone has seen it by now, but just in case, SPOILERS AHEAD!
Loaded with more talk about X-men and chimichangas than ever before, NBRR&M is back with the review of Deadpool! This latest installment in the Marvel universe is unlike any other superhero (although we know Deadpool isn't really a hero..) flick we've seen, and we know you'll love it as much as we did! Join us and find out exactly what we thought about the movie! Beware, and I cannot stress this enough, SPOILERS AHEAD!
Unlike this week's film, you're not gonna have to crack a code to listen to this episode of NBRR&M, but we do guarantee the same amount of social awkwardness and bad jokes! Join us as we dive into a listener's request of The Imitation Game. Starring Benedict Cumberbatch, the film centers on a group of Britain's most-intelligent trying to crack the German Enigma machine during WWII. You're not going to want to miss this!
Another hotly waited episode, this time reviewing an animated film! This week we get all nostalgic and get right into The Iron Giant. Join Matt, Brent and Shley as they try to stay on course (but we all know that's a rarity for NBRR&M) and review the 1999 film that stars Shooter McGavin and Van Diesel. Beware: Spoilers Ahead!
