THE CENOTAPH

A poem I wrote about our cenotaph , every town in Britain has one of these grisly reminders to the great war and then ever war there after .A first they were a pilgrimage for the patriotic to come and almost worship their glorious dead but now they're used by so many different swathes of society as a place to rebel, then there's the drunks and drug addicts who seem to favour and gravitate towards these ancient monuments almost similar to those druids of who worship the circle of Stonehenge...

THE FRUITARIAN FUNDAMENTALIST

Walking into a very expensive veggie vegan boutique i listened to the sermon of a spiritual salesman it felt as if you we're about to sign papers of adoption the high priest of the Celtic druids absolutely worshipped his wild woodland produce , I got the uneasy feeling that my blood was going to be sacrificed under the oak tree called Zeus after i touched a sacred sprig of his mistletoe obviously a crime punishable by death . --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify...

DOOM IN THE ROOM

The Doom in the room is an artist's quip for a muse what they don't realise is that there ego's are so burdensome to others and probably havt to be in order for them to achieve . Whilst living with an artist as their muse I was once painted with my own blood she thought it would be a wonderful contrast of colour the stark white canvas being my Anglo-Saxon skin and ones bright red blood being the paint very reminiscent of the old English flag . --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters...
